Associate of Arts Degree
The San Quentin College Program is an extension site of Patten University, and offers a liberal arts Associate of Arts Degree. Students must complete 61 semester units (20 classes) in the humanities, social sciences, math, and science. Most courses are introductory and lower division. The list of course requirements is below. Many can be fulfilled by similar or related courses.
In addition to the courses required for the Associate’s Degree, the College Program also offers courses such as pre-Calculus, statistics, and Spanish language, so that students may fulfill all requirements for transfer-eligibility to any University of California or California State University campus.
